It was something called the 2013 Producers Guild Awards this weekend as well. They got lost in the hoopla surrounding the SAG Awards. Anyway, there really wasn't much to report from the red carpet — a much more casual affair — due to the fact that all the well dressed ladies wore black. Black sheer and lace more specifically. Jennifer Garner in Oscar de la Renta was particularly pretty. Also, Kerry Washington continued her streak of awesomeness in Marchesa. Nicole Kidman was as sleek and elegant as ever in L'Wren Scott and Naomi Watts was fabulous in my girl Victoria Beckham. I didn't even hate Jessica Alba's rather elaborate gown for the occasion as it was Elie Saab Couture. Beautiful, simple, did the job, they looked lovely. No?

Well, some ladies didn't look at all lovely. I am just saying that it gives me no great pleasure to point out once again that smuggy Anne Hathaway looked terrible in Erdem. What was going on with her hair? How can she have no idea how to dress her porcelain skin? Can she just tone it down now please? Her co-star, Amanda Seyfried, who usually manages a bit of a better job, was wearing a Roland Mouret dress that I can't believe he put his name to. The cowl neck vibes are SO unflattering to a bust, and the colour is just about the worst colour old Mandy could wear next to that pretty face. Clearly Les Mis did not do wonders for cast members style. Just saying.
