Lena Dunham Covers US Vogue, February 2014
Speaking of GIRLS Lena Dunham has secured the enviable cover of US Vogue for February 2014. Shot by Annie Leibovitz, the cover image features a glorious red polka dot blouse by Burberry and Dunham's signature humour.
The story is beautifully observed and evocatively written and once you start reading it, it becomes even more compelling than the images. Even this one which shows Lena in a Dolce and Gabbana dress that fits and would have been gorgeous at the Golden Globes.
She speaks about her relationship with Zac Posen and other designers, and how much she enjoys and observes fashion. It's pretty weird considering how unsuccessful she is at it. Not even Vogue could make this Alexander McQueen feathered situation work on her.

But almost all the images are beautiful — and feature the sequin Prada dress from the same collection as Anna Wintour's cartoon coat. And the pop-art-inspired Celine coat that also follows that trend.
But I think my favourite image is this one. Including her co-star Adam Driver, and a gorgeous Rochas outfit that I adore. How about those yellow feathered flats?
