For the second time this week I have to do a post on Michelle Dockery — better known to us as Lady Mary Crawley of Downton Abbey of course. After a slew of style missteps over the past year or so, Michelle (an Essex girl originally, if you can believe it) has made it two for two as she stepped out in a wonderfully sleek and chic Stella McCartney shift this week. And pewter Jimmy Choos. LOVE.

After her best dressed triumph at the Golden Globes on Sunday, it was noticeable that something had obviously changed. And so I wasn't surprised to discover that Michelle has recently contracted the services of a new stylist. One that is based States-side. Her name is Micaela Erlanger and she is the same woman behind Martha Plimpton's unexpected red carpet triumphs as well as Rachel McAdams. Long may it continue I say. I will definitely be keeping an eye on Michelle's newly evolving style.
