OVERVIEW
The styling training workshops that I have been running for the past four years are designed for people who are interested in styling — whether as part of a broader fashion career, or specifically to work as a jobbing stylist (commercial, fashion, retail or personal styling). As a certified teacher (level higher) I can accept any student including post graduates.
Delegates will learn the difference between the different styling disciplines, understand the function and execution of styling, gain great scientific and theoretical processes to use as building blocks, learn professional behaviours, responsibilities and techniques to use on the job — and have the opportunity to put these into practice in a secure environment. Please email me on rcooke@36boutiques.com should you be interested in booking a place on the workshops — see the dates below. Workshops are usually R5,000 but the offer (for these dates only) is R3,500 and R1,900 for students.

PS: I have a former delegate who went on to style for GQ UK, another two who run thriving personal styling businesses, one who freelanced for Oprah and Cosmo and several more employed in the industry. It could be you!
PPS: If you are wondering about the image I used, that would be my own styling from a recent shoot I did with Mark Cameron as photographer, Sylvie Hurford on face, Alet Viljoen on hair, and the model is Valeska from Max Models. The coat is Christian Lacroix for Desigual and the shoes are Zoom.
