If I was going to wear a black dress to a fancy event like the 2013 Vanity Fair Oscars Party, you can bet it would be this one by Monique Lhullier from the most recent Fall13 collection. And so I was pleasantly surprised to see Kate Beckinsale wearing my dress. Fair enough. I love the drama of it. I think that the length is just perfect — ballerina length. And the Jimmy Choos are the ideal shoe. Winner.

If was to hand with any of the broads at the party, it would be these three, no diggity. Dame Shirley Bassey AND Adele, accompanied by Babs herself? It's like all my sing-a-long Christmases came at once. Love these chicks. And that's a third black dress of the night for Adele. Although who is counting?

THAT Diane Kruger turned up with my husband Pacey Witter, aka Joshua Jackson. She was wearing a complex Giambattista Valli mini dress. I actually quite liked it. But I won't be saying anymore. You can feel free to hate it if you like. Whatevs. She must just leave my husband alone. I've warned her.
