Everything was shimmering on last night's 2014 BRIT Awards red carpet. Starting with Beyonce. She performed at the awards show to much excitement. For the occasion she wore a teal sequin floor sweeper with long sleeves and a high neck. You will come to know that this was THE MAJOR TREND of the event. So pervasive that you have to really look hard to tell some of the dresses apart.

But Beyonce stood out of course. Not only because she is a superstar that seems to have a spotlight following her where're she goes. But also because she wore colour. Spectacular.

The dress is by Vrettos Vrettakos Couture, who has designed performance gear for Bey before. And those sheer panels on the sleeves were the perfect touch to make the dress work on stage.

I loved that after the awards show, she changed her shoes, threw on a coat and popped off to her private jet to fly home. Just like that. As you do.
