And Lily Allen proved this by turning up on the red carpet last night in a wonderful, sleek, black vintage number from William Vintage. Her matching Chanel bag and hair was pure, witty, style genius.

It also worked with her fantastically sassy little House of Holland dress that she wore to present an award. The sheer hem is very on trend. The sequin was the hit of the night. And the whole thing was just fabulous. Perfectly pitched. Beautifully fitted. A sensation. Loved it.
