At last Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge, is back on the circuit. It's been a few months. And apparently she has recovered from her early pregnancy issues and is ready to start working again, by way of an island vacation. If only all pregnant ladies could be so lucky, I can't help but think. Anyhoodle, she looked good yesterday on her official engagement, dressed as she was in Max Mara.

It is a flattering black and white wrap dress, which she paired with a rather ordinary — but super expensive — necklace and her classic black court shoes. All a bit ho-hum, but looking good. Nice, right? And of course the baby bump is in full view now, which is what everyone was waiting for.

The hair is naturally bouncy and gorgeous, if rather over styled as usual. But she does seem to be growing out that fringe that she had cut in shortly before announcing her pregnancy. It seems it wasn't working out for her — and better get it grown out now than wait till the baby comes, when there will be no time for hairstyling. Oh wait, she is a princess. So hair will be as glossy as ever. Royals, they really aren't just like us.
