So it wasn't even Blake Lively's premier. It was her husband, Ryan Reynolds'. For the new mobie The Croods. And yet she looked stunning and caught my eye — even over my fashion book club favourite Emma Stone.

Blake was in a 60s-style mod blood red mini dress by Marios Schwab, paired with white stilettos by Bottega Venetta with a bejewelled heel. Love the soft hair. Love the sleeve detail. Just love. Amazing.

The star of the movie, Emma Stone, looked lovely of course. She was wearing very on-trend black and white Lanvin for the occasion. All decked out with a back bow.

Of course I also liked the dress because it had pockets. And Ryan looked jolly good in his chunky, manly coat and boots, with fitted pinstripe formal trousers. I like that combination.

A last word on Blake. That is a Burberry coat she arrived in. Seriously. I want her wardrobe. Don't you?
