Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge, In TopShop and Goat
Now THIS is how I like to see Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge. Youthful, cute, fun, fashionable and relaxed. She and her husband, Prince William, attended an engagement yesterday for parents who have had their children pass away.
For the occasion, Kate wore an adorable little TopShop shift dress in black with a white Peter Pan collar. She paired it with black opaque tights and courts. And popped a white collarless coat by Goat over it, allowing the collar of the dress to do the work.
Inside, Kate dropped the coat, allowing us to see the dress at work, passing quite comfortably as a maternity dress for her small bump. Also, for fans of The Great British Bake Off like me, I was delighted to see her chatting to Mary Berry, of whom Wills said Kate was a big fan. Mary lost her own son when he was a teenager, sadly.
Kate's hair was nice and smooth and loose, with minimal fuss and curls and overly done blow waves. And her make up was lovely and neutral, with just some pearls and a pair of gloves accessorising the whole vibes. This is a 10/10 for me. Love it. Happy.
