The FLOTUS Michelle Obama turned up at the 2012 Kids Choice Awards on the weekend to do some duties as a mum and a patron. She landed up putting many of the stars in the shade with her glamourous and gracious appearance. Wearing a Wes Gordon jacket and metallic jeans — paired with her usual black Jimmy Choo court shoes — she was stunning.

There were some adjustments to the jacket between the runway and Mrs O. The collar was turned down and the neckline was altered to be higher and more appropriate for a woman in her 40s, who is the wife of the President. And all that. Still I don't think that it is amiss to say that the woman looked hot. This is a cracking look and totally suited her figure.

What do you guys think of this look for the first lady? I think it worked for the event. It worked for her body. It worked for the trends. And she was one of the best dressed at the affair. Pair all this with the fact that she took a dash of sliming in good humour, never lost the smile on her face and was accompanied by her daughters, makes me find this whole thing an inch short of perfection. Loved it.
