In a story shot by Tim Walker for US Vogue, Kate Moss stars in Checking Out, the last couture shoot at the Ritz in Paris prior to closing for renovations. Poignancy all round. Mostly because it is such an iconic combination of Kate in Paris for Anna Wintour's Vogue at the Ritz. I don't know how much more 21st century fashion you can get.

Picking from the best of the January 2012 couture shows, including Valentino, Dior, Givenchy and others, Grace Coddington styled an unprecedentedly opulent story, really giving in to the rich splendour of the whole situation.

For anyone who has seen The September Issue, and got a bit emotional alongside Grace, you will almost feel her joy at being able to indulge herself with this shoot. It is amazing.

It just all feels so right. It all comes together. And it takes a model like Kate to make this happen. Brilliant.
