After a busy week of engagements in London, I am sure Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge, was pleased to don her jeans and wellies to set up camp with some kids in the forest. For the occasion, which was in support of the charity ARK, and the Expanding Horizons nature school for primary school kids, Kate wore Zara skinny jeans. Always a win.

She added that old khaki Burberry top she wore in Canada last year, popped over it a Zara v-neck jumper — one like almost every girl in the western world has. No fancy pants here. Of course her wellies are Le Chameau, which is a bit posh, but she does seem to get an awful lot of wear out of them, so they have shifted into good value territory.

Later Kate swapped that Really Wild waterproof waistcoat out for her brown suede jacket as she headed to watch her husband and brother-in-law play polo. She took along their adorable Spaniel, Lupo, and met up with Zara and Mike and other royal cousins. As you do.

All I can say is that it is utterly heart-melting to see Wills play with his dog like that. So cute!
