Well if there was ever a prize for the worst red carpet EVER, it may have to go to the 2012 BET Awards. Seriously. Not even Beyonce's chartreuse gown could save the day. But hang on. Who is that looking so lovely in beaded red? Well, I do believe it is South Africa's very own songstress Lira! Always beautifully dressed, the BET Awards were no exception. And so she is one of the only stars of the event who got a good sartorial review. Go Lira! Thanks to @lizetheunicorn who spotted the piece on Tom + Lorenzo, I was able to show you our local girl done good. Two things though — who is she wearing?? Anyone? And secondly, T+L critizised the clutch. But it is a little piece of Africa and works perfectly in my opinion. Right? Yay. Happy SA day.
