Wow. Have you ever seen onse Princess Charlene of Monaco (and Benoni) in such a beautifully fitted dress? The soft peach lace dress was something like a phenomenon at this weekend's Love Ball held in Monte Carlo. Charlene looked amazing.

It was the first time that Charlene has worn Atelier Versace. And I have to say that I think it is an excellent choice. If you read the article in this month's SA Marie Claire, she talks about how she has to attend three to four public events a week, so it is important that she knows what suits her and what she likes. However, I like to think that she is still discovering her style. And that this dress is a fantastic step forward on that journey.

Also, I know that it is called The Love Ball and maybe there was some posturing for the cameras, but have you ever seen our girl so happy and apparently close to her husband. There were so many pictures from this event that included hand holding, glances at each other — genuine affection. This of course makes me very happy.

I was a bit amused by Charlene sitting next to Bono. She seems a bit skeptical about his hustle - well he is wearing sunglasses at night and inside. Good girl. She is a bit more all-embracing about her interactions with Natalia Vodianova, who looked amazing in red Dior for the event.
