I know the fact that Kate Middelton, Duchess of Cambridge, wore her hair in a ponytail is not news. Obviously. It's just that I bang on about how I would prefer it if she did and she never does. Until yesterday, that is. Huzzah!

Spotted heading off to her mum's house for the next few weeks, Kate had on a blue print wrap dress and tied her hair up in a pony. As anyone would when dealing with a 2-day old baby.

They all seemed in good spirits as they headed off with lots of smiles and waves and no obvious tension or stress or pressure. Which is just a delight.

And so he shall be named Boy George. I am sure we will get used to it quickly. Or to do it in full for once, His Royal Highness Prince George Alexander Louis of Cambridge. Hahahahaha. My favourite bit is that Kate and Wills made sure to point out in the press release that the names weren't symbolic for anything, they just liked them.
