Despite her own confessions that she is really struggling to stay in shape and model-ready now that she is staring 40 in the face, Kate Moss looks radient on the cover of beauty bible, Allure, for the August 2013 issue.

We have ourselves noticed that lack of skin care and the soft lines and wrinkles that have started to creep in. Considering she will be forty at her next birthday, this isn't a surprise, to be fair. It's just that we are so used to Kate looking, well, like Kate, it will strange to see her visibly growing older. It is inevitable, but somehow unexpected as she continues to book prestige modelling jobs and covers.

I am a fan of these last two images where Kate is in Saint Laurent. It is close to her natural style, looks super cool and the vestiges of her youth are very clear in these images. This is how I will always see her. It's amazing that Allure were able to capture this exact essence so well. Nicely played.
