Solange Knowles has just cancelled her European tour dates for the summer to stay with her son in the US. Within days she was performing instead in her home town of Brooklyn, New York. By pushing through in more challenging silhouettes like this shorts suit. With heels. Who would have thunk, just a little while ago, that we would be perfectly happy with shorts and stilettos?

The shorts suit is by Clover Canyon from their resort collection. This is a label that Solange is loving right now and really putting on the map for people outside of the US. The shoes are Preen x Aldo, and so pretty accessible if you want to get in on this style action.

If that was Solange's stage outfit, her off-stage look was just as arresting. This dramatic black and white jumpsuit by Zero + Maria Cornejo is a triumph. On-trend of course, in both colour and print — and it is a jumpsuit. I love a jumpsuit. So very much. It looks like Solange likes one too.
