As you guys will all know, Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge, has been out pretty much every single day supporting the TeamGB athletes in the London 2012 Olympic Games. And for almost every occasion she has been dressed in a version of the TeamGB uniform of tees and sweats.

I particularly liked her outfit from yesterday. It wasn't a compromise solution. It was straight up practical and patriotic. With her J Brand jeans, Addidas trainers, windbreaker and hair in a ponytail, Kate was ready for the sailing and got right into the swing of things.

During the course of the Games so far, Kate has worn both the flag-branded polo tops and the track tops — and of course now the windbreaker. These are not particularly stylish items, mind you, but they are totes appropes. And by wearing uniform pieces, Kate's outfits don't distract from the athletes and the Games.
