The gorgeous Olivia Wilde is out and about in New York this week promoting her new movie, Drinking Buddies. She appeared at a screening last night wearing this teal J.Mendel dress with cut outs and looking every inch the stylish actress she is. She takes fashion risks and I like that. She is also becoming more confident in wearing more edgy items with her dressed-down natural style. I really like that. So the accessories are minimal, the Christian Louboutin heels are making frequent appearances, and the hair is lose and easy. It feels comfortable even as it is more extreme fashion.

My personal favourite from Olivia is when she pairs a good old black t-shirt with a fabulous print skirt like she did on Monday. This skirt is from Clover Canyon and I think she would fit in perfectly here in Cape Town with this look — especially if she left the skirt behind for us to wear.

Olivia kept things summery and sweet for Letterman later on Monday, in this white Theyskens Theory dress. With the same Louboutins. And her sunnies and hair all just-got-up.

Before reverting to her natural style as she walked to meet friends — skinny jeans, cool ankle boots, sunglasses, headphones and a t-shirt from Alex and Chloe. Properly cool. Do you think I need to invite her to fashion fantasy book club after this show of style? Let me know.
