Last year in April — that's in 2012, a whole 16 months ago — I did a few trend alerts to the shade that was making an impact on the red carpet, hot pink. I mentioned it first as a red carpet situation here, and then as an everyday experience here. And then the best of them all was January Jones in a brilliant hot pink romper that I loved here. And then it quietly went away. Or did it?

If it did, it's back. This week we have had another three instances of amazing hot pink about town. Jessica Pare from Mad Men wore Roland Mouret to start and then Christa B. Allen from Revenge was quick to follow in this absolutely amazing little shift by Jenni Kayne. I love this one.

And just to be a bit different, and yet well on-trend, one of my favourites, Jessie J wore these awesome hot pink skinny crop trousers by Joseph in London yesterday. Man, I wish I could have those. What about you? Do you think hot pink is coming into your summer wardrobe this year?
