I know that this post is about a week late, but we have had SO MUCH to talk about this week, so I left it till an indulgent Friday morning when we can really take the time to look at these awesome images of my mate Alexa Chung's UK Vogue cover story for the October 2013 issue.

I wasn't fully aware that there was a category of style called street urchin chic, bit apparently there is, and this is what it looks like, personified by Alexa and her wide eyes. It turns out I really like it. Who knew?

The cover and inside story was shot by celebrated photographer Patrick Demarchelier — someone that I insist someone else gets me on the phone one day in my life.

The clothes are a mix of vintage and couture, which is an ideal blend for our girl Alexa. And I am a huge fan of this story, even if the wig is a bit dodgy. It is thought, right? Do you like it?
