Kate Moss and George Michael Cover Paris Vogue, October 2012
Of course they have been friends forever. And have stood by each other through both their drug crisis and ancillary shenanigans that everyone seems to forget about because they are Kate Moss and George Michael. Personally I don't get it. Throw them in jail for risking the lives of others, I say. But that is not how this story plays. This one lands up with a joint cover of Paris Vogue for October 2012. Even if they both look just a smidge over-photoshopped and strange of face.
And then you open the issue and see this utterly delightful image. Walking the dog. Chatting. Looking unbearably cool and desirable. As they gently giggle between them, with fellow friend Mario Testino snapping away. God. It is just so very beautiful.
And so we forgive and let go and indulge and promote, so smitten are we by their ability to do their glamorous jobs ever so well. Sigh. And so we are complicit in this story. We play a role in making this happen. And we don't mind a jot. The end.
