When Mercedes Benz Fashion Week New York finished last week, we moved straight on to London and kind of forgot about the last day in NYC. But something happened that day. It was the Ralph Lauren show, and Jessica Alba turned up for it looking more beautiful that she ever has before. And heralding the latest trend that has been seeping out over the last few months — the cropped woolly jumper, paired with the flared skirt. Gorgeous.

Two days later Daisy Lowe attended the Topshop show in London in an almost identical outfit. Saying much about both the two brands and the trend itself. This just confirmed what we already knew...time to get your fluffy jumpers STAT.

In the past few months Katy Perry, Emmy Rossum and Miley Cyrus (twice) have gone near this trend. I think, coming of the first half of fashion month, we can safely say it is now a certifiable look to get. And fast. Go go go!
