Here in South Africa we don't have the exhilarating retail/designer collaborations like Isabel Marant for H&M, but we try. And the closest we have come so far, in my view, is this brilliant little capsule collection from one of my favourite local designers, Anisa Mpungwe for the Project line at Mr Price. She of Loin Cloth and Ashes fame. Now you can get a bit of African designer fashion for CHEAP.

And let the price not be your guide. For once, the fact that it is cheap as chips is not the reason to rush on down to Mr P and pick up your pieces. No. You should do that, but because it is awesome.

The black, yellow and white colour combinations are fantastic, both in print and solids. They will work brilliantly to be on trend this season and as timeless pieces. The silhouettes are sporty, simple, clean and quite fashion forward. But they are also fun. Flirty. You know? Easy to wear. Perfect for summer.

And I really can't resist the temptation to pick up a t-shirt with Anisa's face on it. Love, love, love that one. You with me?
