Congratulations to Blake Lively who was announced yesterday as the new L'Oreal Paris face of their brand Egerie — covering both make-up and hair care products. The announcement was made in Paris, with Blake turning up in a gorgeous 80s-inspired Balmain dress.

Blake usually wears Gucci as she is also the face of their Premier fragrance. But yesterday, I guess to clearly demarcate the new endorsement deal, she chose a different designer.

Blake has also recently announced a new movie role. The first since leaving Gossip Girl and getting married. She will star in the movie Adaline, alongside Ellen Burstyn. I can't wait for that.

So Blake is a busy girl. Rich too with all these endorsements and movie roles. And yet, despite all that (and our natural instinct that you can't have it all) she looks happier and more fun than ever as she did her bit for L'Oreal yesterday. Good girl.
