Hailee Steinfeld may be super young, but she has really come into her own in the past six months, with a style maturity well beyond her years. Just in the last week, she cut this fringe, taking her look from sweet young actress, to cool young actress. A switch that actually is pretty critical to distinguish her amazing body of work from that of the Disney starlets. And she also wore this incredible Thakoon black and white stripe two-piece with crop top, executed perfectly with the tights and boots. London mod style done perfectly for 2013. Boom.

Plus she knows how to bring the pretty, which she did in this Erdem dress on the weekend. There is the softness up top, but to make sure she edges it up a bit, she added the mesh ankle booties by Bionda Castana. Genius. She was in Berlin after all. And yes, sure, it is probably a lot of work by the stylist in her employ. But considering she is going in a very different direction to most of her peers, I think there is probably some of her own decision making at play here. Great job.
