It's a new movie called Filth and it had its London premier this week. The female star of the film is Downton Abbey's Joanne Froggatt. And didn't she look all kinds of amazing in her Hervé Léger bandage dress?

Look. I am SO OVER bandage dresses. Obviously. Just like you, the bandage dress was totally ruined for me by the Kardashians and the like. And yet, look at this. It is not remotely skanky. It has elegance and poise. It is unseemly flattering — both the shape and the colour bands. She looks incredible and yet completely sophisticated without an inch of the hoochie about her. Even with those shoes.

And yet, could there be a dress alive that is less like her character Anna, the one she is known for? I think this was super clever of her. I know that Joanne loves to wear high street on the red carpet, but this choice was both brilliant and gorgeous. This is VERY WELL PLAYED. Boom.
