Despite being just about the best Topshop collaborator since Kate moss, Kate Bosworth has upper her fashion price point for her red carpet looks in support of her new movie, Big Sur. It was the one directed by her husband, Michael Polish. This Alexander McQueen dress in electric blue is absolutely stunning. A triumph.

At first you didn't notice how good it was, as she hid it under a coat on arrival. But in general I like how she downplayed it with dove grey suede shoes and undone hair and make-up. Very good.

Then that night she wore Christopher Kane to the New York premier. The sleek, draped dress was spruced up with embellishments on the neck and at the waist. Absolutely gorgeous, no? So beautiful. I love both these looks.
