We have been following and supporting local Cape Town schoolgirl model, Katryn Kruger for about a year now on the blog. And we have seen countless amazing pictures of her taken by some of the most prestigious photographers in the world, for some of the most valued campaigns, as she has rapidly climbed the dizzy heights of the international modeling ladder.
Now, assuming you can understand Afrikaans, for the first time we get to hear directly from her about this incredible journey, her feelings on her career, her diet and growing up fast. This video from behind the scenes of the Sarie magazine November fashion shoot is charming and gentle and lovely. You should definitely give it a watch. The shoot was led by my fashion bestie, Chris Viljoen, Sarie Fashion Director, shot by Ulrich Knoblauch, a long-time Katryn friend and collaborator, and makeup was by Algria.
