This week saw another premier of 12 Years a Slave, the movie that Kenyan actress Lupita Nyong'o is tipped for an Oscar nomination. So far Lupita has not put a style foot wrong, sticking mostly to her winning formula of form-fitted, boldly coloured dresses, that show her off best. Of course she has also triumphed in black and white, but this stuff is her signature.

Luipta wore an electric blue Roland Mouret dress this week. It is everything we want in a dress on her, and then some. The fit is impeccable and the dress cut with just enough kick to provide a subtle femininity. The shoes could have been better. But with a dress this good, I will forgive. How about you?
