Taylor Swift donated $4m to the Country Music Hall of Fame so that they could open an education centre for future generations of country music artists and those striving to become them. As the largest single donation they ever received, they naturally named the centre after her. So she turned up with the giant scissors to declare it open. Good girl.

For the occasion she wore a beautiful navy Elie Saab dress and some cute (if high) Miu Miu shoes. Very elegant. With the make-up and hair to ensure it didn't all get too grown up.
