Taylor Swift's new album hit the shelves yesterday and she gadded about New York City to promote it. In doing so she donned three different — and absolutely charming — outfits. Let's begin at the beginning. The gorgeous red dress that speaks rather literally to the name of her album, Red. But of course Taylor has been wearing many red dresses lately, many of which are just cute high street numbers in her favourite fit-n-flare 50s style. Taylor then changed into another popular choice for her — yellow florals. A gorgeous waist bow and tonal cardigan were perfect details, and she paired it with her favourite Shelley's for ModCloth shoes. The only thing 'red' about it was her signature lip colour.

Her final dress for the day was in evening black, accompanied by gorgeous diamante tipped shoes and something sparkling at her ears. Resolutely consistent with her personal style, this was a triumph of a day with every look holding together and event-appropriate. I continue to be in awe of her maturity when it comes to utilising her style in support of her brand. Brilliantly done.
