The mighty Tilda Swinton was in Hamburg this week to receive and award at the 2013 Hamburg Film Festival. For the occasion of receiving this award, she wore a black Haider Ackermann suit. As ever, it looked immaculate on her. Just look at the power in those shoulders.

Haider Ackermann is Tilda's favourite designer. He really gets her, and vice versa. Their pairing is one of the greats in fashion right now, and he must just give thanks every day that he has found such an amazing and adventurous muse to breathe life and magesty into his slightly unexpected designs.

The surprise of this look was, of course, the lip colour. The Swinton seldom allows make-up to take a position, but this really allows the trouser suit to achieve an elegance and formality that otherwise it wouldn't have had. Great subtle trick. And didn't Tilda look happy with this celebratory event. Boom.
