I think that it is fair to say that as a fantasy book club friend of Alexa Chung, I am well placed to speak on her style preferences. Also I have been tracking her style on an almost daily basis for some years now, so that may be more the thing. Either way, I can say with some authority that our lady Alexa loves her some leopard print.

I can remember back in 2010 when she was wearing a furry leopard print coat not dissimilar in style to her recent piece. And that Mulberry bag she chose — the 'Alexa' in leopard print. She carried that for almost an entire season.

And recently she wore a leopard print dress to the Victoria Secret Show — and the leopard print jacket to the Marc Jacobs SS13 show. Front row in leopard. Pow! Alexa also chose to wear the self same leopard coat to a Jason Wu party last week — carrying his lates 'it' tote bag.

Alexa has gone so far as to wear a leopard print bathing suit on her recent holiday in the sun. Matching it with her travel companion, which if of course ironic and hilarious. I think. (Hipsters. Sometimes you can't tell if they are being ironic.)

Anyway, I think that we can go ahead and mark down leopard print as a wardrobe must-have. Well, only if you like the style of Alexa Chung of course. Which is pretty much all of you. Now go!
