Another young English actress with parental links to Africa is the delightful Ashley Madekwe, one of the the ensemble stars of the hit TV series Revenge. Ashley has a Nigerian father, lives in America, grew up in England, and recently visited Australia, where she attended the Melbourne cup. Our well-travelled little delight wore gorgeous mint and white dress by Camilla and Marc and a super-pretty little hair accessory in lieu of a hat. Which was very well played. There is actually another reason why I am so fond of wee Ash, aside from her African heritage. And that is that she is one of book club mate Cat Deeley's pals in the US. Often chatting on Twitter these girls seem like a complete hoot and I would love to hang with them, chatting shoes, bags and frocks. Anytime ladies. Anytime.
