Elizabeth Banks Rules the Red Carpet This Week
I love Elizabeth Banks. She is properly funny. Not only did she steal scenes from Alec Baldwin in 30Rock, but she produced and starred in Pitch Perfect. If that's not enough reason for you to love her, there is her style. Which is almost always impeccable. Take this delightful little Alexander McQueen frock that she wore to the London photo call for The Hunger Games: Catching Fire on Monday night.
And while I didn't absolutely die for the Jason Wu that she wore to the London premier, I did certainly admire the bold, striking colour.
Elizabeth often wears yellow. It works for her and is a lesson to all blondes who think that they can't wear the colour. And it certainly commands attention and stands out.
At the after party in London, Elizabeth stayed with Jason Wu, in silver this time, and managed to looks beautifully elegant, if somewhat subdued after her earlier looks.
The dress had an interesting back detail, which seemed to be the order of the night. And the nude Louboutin courts were a tiny bit off in my view. I would have preferred silver, I think.
But Elizabeth was back to her best last night in Berlin, when she pulled out the Elie Saab for the premier. I mean you really don't get much better than this. And she managed to completely steal the red carpet from all other pretenders. This was truly excellent, don't you think?
