At the 37th Annual Saban Community Clinic Gala, held in LA on Monday night, Shameless actress Emmy Rossum mixed things up a bit and eschewed her usual princess dress for a delightful beaded black trouser and top combination by Naeem Khan.

I am pretty stoked about this situation. I always think that trousers are the most modern and cool way to do evening wear. You can always look more individual this way, with a bit of attitude. And as much as I love, love, love a princess dress — especially on Emmy — I love this just a little bit more. Yay.
