It was Remembrance Sunday yesterday. Every year, Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge, wears a DvF coat. But this year she didn't. It was a new, quilted-front, navy blue coat, which I thought was cool and modern and perfect. The hat was by James Lock and Co. And apparently she carried a Lulu Guinness clutch but we didn't get to see that.

I think she looked great. But can you imagine how much better she would have looked if she had tied her hair up a bit? Maybe a low messy bun to the side. Or even a sleek low ponytail. Instead she twisted her unusually lank hair into ringlets. Ringlets. Seriously. Right there. In front of the world. It is starting to make me properly grumpy. WHY DOESN'T SHE JUST TIE IT UP?? I can't understand who is advising her, but someone needs to have a bloody strong word. Mix it up, lady. The sky won't fall in if you just tie your hair back every so often. Especially on bad hair days like yesterday. Sigh.
