It was the 2012 Country Music Awards at the tail end of last week. And you know how I feel about the country music style. It is usually a disaster. This particular red carpet wasn't too bad. But nothing really stood out as mentionable, with the exception of our reliable style girl, Taylor Swift. She managed to appear flawless on the red carpet in a draped and beaded Jenny Packham gown. And looked sensational.

This was despite the fact that she had only just announced her latest relationship break up (they're never, ever, ever getting back together I assume). And was the subject of a few similar jokes from the hosts of the show.

Still Taylor took it on the chin and performed in a brand new 50s-style red dress, that I can't identity so I assume it is vintage, and a pair of delightful Oscar de la Renta shoes. Nice.
