My mate Victoria Beckham is in London at the moment. She has been keeping a pretty low profile, but couldn't miss accompanying the mighty Valentino Garavani to the opening of his fashion showcase at Somerset House — home of London Fashion Week. For the occasion, she wore one of her own little skirt suit designs, in bright orange double crepe.

Vicky paired the suit with a black shirt and those cool Manolo Blahnik booties that she used in her last show — with the peep toe and open heel detail.

You guys know how I like a ponytail as a modern long hair expression. And Vicky deployed this to excellent effect. Dressing down the suit a bit to feel more London-appropriate. Nicely done VB. And how I wish I was in London to see this particular exhibition. Sigh.
