While we haven't seen her on the red carpet at the premiers of the new movie, American Hustle, Jennifer Lawrence has been attending the photo calls and meet and greets. Reuniting J-Law with Bradley Cooper is enough to have us all the the box office buying our tickets, so I guess she doesn't have to work that hard at the promotion. Especially after many weeks of Hunger Games duties.

I am exceptionally pleased to see Jen in some sleek and cool outfits, however. This is incredibly joyous after all that Dior couture she forced on us on the red carpet of late. These outfits — like this electric blue Alexander McQueen — are youthful and sharp and awesome. I am so very happy.

There is something just so minimalist and self-contained here. It is American sportswear at its best, really. It's exactly what suits her. Rather than trussing her up in Parisian couture, let her be young and athletic and cool. Marc by Marc Jacobs is a million times better suited to her personal style than Dior.

And even when playing it down, like in this knit Theory dress, she still looks good. It's like her VERY awesome hair and her style now work together, instead of her VERY awesome hair having to save her look from fuddy duddy. Know what I mean?

PS: She is wearing a ring on her ring finger. Just saying.
