Last night Julia Roberts was promoting her movie August: Osage County in New York. She attended the premier dress in this week's most popular colour — electric blue. The gorgeous little dress was perfectly proportioned for her figure — and endless legs — and is by Proenza Schouler.

I really don't love that hippy necklace she is wearing. It feels a bit like Julia's own necklace that her stylist forgot to tell her to take off before stepping out. The whole thing would have sung in perfect pitch without it. But still. It is super fantastic to see Julia in colour, in style and in cute little dresses that show off her best assets.

She was much more covered up for her appearance on Letterman later, when she popped a glorious Stella McCartney coat on and paired it with black and white Rachel Roy shoes. This is really good work from Julia. So much improved. Long may it last.
