Today, as she joins our nation in mourning at the FNB stadium, I am guessing she is going to be subdued and respectful, but before they boarded Air Force One, she threw on this emerald green Marchesa gown and attended the 36th Annual Kennedy Centre Honors Gala where people like Billy Joel and Shirley MacLaine were honoured on Sunday night.

Not only do I love the dress — the colour is just magnificent on her — but I also love the jewellery. Mrs O has always had a way with an accessory and this was no different. The necklace is lovely, but that sparkly minaudière (the mini evening clutch) is sensational.
