It was the 2013 Critics Choice Awards last night — hot on the heels of the People's Choice Awards the night before, and the announcement of the Oscar and BAFTA nominees. Yeeha! We are well into it now. So who shone last night? Well, quite a few people actually. I have divided them up a bit. First off we have three of the best — all dressed in black. Starting with Jennifer Lawrence who has been a bit hit and miss recently. This one is a hit. Phew. Prabal Gurung is the designer. Leather and silk chiffon the fabrics. Youthful. Sexy. Elegant. Hot. Nicely played lady — but we still have the big ones to go and Jen is nominated across them all. Let's see how she does.

Then there is one of my personal favourites, Jaime King. I love her and wish she was one of my mates. She seems like such a cool mate. I may invite her to book club and see how it goes. Anyhoodle, in the mean while she was wearing her bestie Jason Wu last night. And looking amazing.

Finally, the utterly sublime Naomi Watts continues her winning style streak in Emilio Pucci. The simplicity and elegance of this dress is going to be hard to beat as the awards season progresses. But man it is good! Especially with that colour pop of earring. ADORE.
