Look I am not even going to bother with people like Heidi Klum who can't seem to find a decent outfit in a fashion closet. There were plenty of her ilk on the 2014 Golden Globes red carpet last night. But one stood out, and is worth mentioning. Lena Dunham. Dressed by her old friend Zac Posen. On a dress obviously made just for her. Custom fitted. Although you would never, ever know, would you? Why is it digging into her bust? Why is it too tight across her hips? Why is it high-low across her back? I simply do not understand why it is so hard to look fabulous when you are Lena Dunham and Zac Posen makes a dress just for you. Hey?? HOW HARD CAN IT BE?

Then we must mention recently married Kaley Cuoco who wore a pretty Rani Zakhem Couture dress which sat so low on the bust that I was a bit worried for her. Also we have just seen a million pictures of her in her pink princess wedding dress, so maybe a different silhouette for the awards show would have been an idea, hmm?

Then there were my favourite two ladies who were just a mahoosive disappointment. Why did Julia Roberts wear a white shirt under her Dolce and Gabbana dress?? And why did Sandra Bullock do such infantile colour blocking in Prabal Gurung. No man. They are both SO PRETTY. Such amazing and talented women. Who have been looking great recently. Sad.

And then there was Tina Fey. She is a champion. I love her. But I do not love the idea of putting a flouncy tent on her hips. Carolina Herrera and Tina Fey in a rare slip of giant-hip-proportions. I shall not speak of this again. 

Finally, to wrap up the 2014 Golden Globes red carpet coverage, I must award the Helena Bonham Carter bat-shit-crazy award for 2014 to Jacqueline Bisset. Done.
