Jennifer has such great posture and carriage that she can make strapless really work in an elegant way — a way that so many others struggle with. I mean you can't imagine Jen hoiking this up on the way into the awards show, right? Right Jennifer Lawrence?
Also looking absolutely smashing in turquoise blue was Lupita Nuong'o — who also won the award for Best Supporting Actress at the SAGs.
Her Gucci column dress, with floral neckline, was something she personally chose and loved. And we can see why. I mean this is sensational. Three out of three from the Globes, Critics Choice and now the SAGs red carpets. She is on a roll and I can't wait to see what she does for the BAFTAs and Oscars.
Electric blue was Amy Adams' choice for her red carpet look by Antonio Berardi. I love absolutely everything about this look — from the sleek elegance, to the sexy slit, to the asymmetric neckline, to the punch of colour in the earrings. It's incredible to think that Amy was champion of the princess dress last year on the awards circuit. Her sleek, sophisticated, sporty style this season is completely different — and really good.
Also in blue on the red carpet on Saturday night was a favourite of mine — Mindy Kaling — who wore navy David Meister. It's a fantastic little dress. And Veep star Julia Louis-Dreyfus. First of all, if you don't watch Veep, you are mad. Best political comedy ever to come out of the US. Fact. Second, the dress is Monique Lhullier. I needed to make that point. Thanks.
