WOW. That was my first thought when I saw these images come through late yesterday. Just wow. You all know how I love and admire Cate Blanchett. I think she is just wonderful. And then when you see her working fashion like this, well it sends me into Fan Girl space.

The dress is Armani Privé and features a wrap style with an alternative fishtail detail. A detail I can live with in a dress this magnificent and substantial.

I love the way the sculptured dress is mirrored in the hair and that her natural prettiness has been allowed to come out despite the intense construction of the dress. Great work here. What do you think?
