A casual run around town required Diane to pop on a brilliant combination of classic Breton stripes and skinny pastel pink jeans. The studded and pointed flats make the outfit, pulling it all together without pretention. Love it.
Then there was the afternoon soiree — a pre-Golden Globes luncheon — and what should a lady wear to a luncheon but Chanel? Well, even better is Chanel with bows on. Amazing.
The entire outfit is Chanel, including the bag and the shoes. I probably wouldn't have minded a bit of a lip colour. That would have made the whole thing perfect. But sometimes, in fashion as in life, we think we want perfect and then realise that imperfect is even better.
And finally there was an Antonio Berardi black and gold dress that Diane wore to the Golden Globes parties. On trend. Beautifully fitted. Easy and unaffected. This is great. Not exactly jaw-dropping, but really cool elegance as is slowly becoming more her thing. And of course I LOVE the Cancer clutch by Charlotte Olympia, being a Cancerian myself. I really want it.
