It am often reminded that Ms Dita von Teese can do no style wrong. Aside from the fact that every outfit is a full commitment, completely thought through and fully resolved, she is also just incredibly poised and elegant that everything looks good on her. She wore a perfect plum Carolina Herrera dress to the LoveGold event at Chateau Marmont in LA yesterday.

Also poised and elegant, Michelle Dockery didn't fare quiet so well at the event. On first glance her Barbara Casasola dress is absolutely fabulous. But then you realise that her bust is sitting so low on the top that the darts are completely ABOVE them. (For the record, bust darts should sit two thirds of the way down the swell of the breast.) This is obviously the fault of bad (or no) underwear and demonstrates incredibly well how this small thing can ruin an entire look. Bad Lady Mary.

Funny lady, Anna Kendrick, and teen star, Bella Thorne, were also at the event. And while they looked cute enough, they were a bit underdressed for the occasion in their Topshop and jeans ensembles. No match for Dita. She wins. Done.
